Adoption Information for the Wood

Zeevarn

"Ahhh," a voice hisses as you approach. "I see a wanderor has made the journey here, perhaps to learn about adoptables?"

What you see next definately scares you. A huge, black dragon with many pointy parts is looking at you with a smile on his face. "I am Zeevarn, and I shall explain to you about adoptions."

In the most general way, cyber adoptions are generally fun. An artist will draw a creature, perhaps invent one, and then offer it for adoption. The person who adopts the creature must follow certain rules, post the creature, and usually write a story about it. Each adoption center has its own rules, but here are the rules for the Wood adoptables:

  1. You must have a web site. This web site must be viewable by the public and have no content that would be rated about PG-13. If you have stories on your site that might push this rule, please e-mail me about it before adopting.
  2. You cannot take any images off this site unless they are specificlly for adoption. There is no monkey-business here: The adoptions will be clearly marked and accompanied by rules. If you like an adopted creature, click on it to find out where it was adopted and adopt your own. If there is no link, or the link no longer works, or the creature is no longer adoption, you cannot adopt the creature! Sorry.
  3. You must link back to the main section of the website. The URL is http://www.blackdrago.com/main.htm. Please link to that URL and not others!
  4. Do not give out the secrets of the Wood. Let other people find stuff on their own. What fun would it be otherwise?
  5. Do not claim these creatures to be yours. When you adopt, you cannot claim that you've drawn them nor can you offer them out as adoptables from your site. People must come to the Wood to adopt the creature that live in the Wood. Period.
  6. I reserve the right to ask you to remove the graphics from your page for any reason at any time. Not complying with this will be considered an infrigement of copyright.

"Now that you have all that, would you like to know how to find and adopt various creatures in the Wood?" You nod.

"First, you must know that there are various adoptions in the Wood. They include drigetti, magmaquine, dragons, and Kattails. Perhaps even a few others are around as well, but you'll have to discover them yourself."

He turns away from you. "Magmaquine and Kattails are very special, and several residents here in Embrod will fill you in on them. I highly suggest that you go and speak to them, as you will not be able to aquire either creature without help."

"However, the other creatures will be hidden, protected by guardians. You may want to be very receptive to what is around you when you find an adoptable is near, as the gaurdian may ask you to offer specific information about a certain area or person in the area. So, you should be attentive, wanderor. Now go."
